Namaste Foods Chocolate Cake Mix, Gluten Free review

Fun and delicious for the chocolate lover in all of our gluten free and dairy free households!!  Seriously:)

My dad is a huge chocolate cake fan, so ever since I went gluten free and working on dairy free he has tried many a chocolate cake with mixed results! haha, recently though I received this mix as part of the twitter prizes from Gluten Free Mom Certified and it was amazing.  Truly delicious.  I made it as cupcakes and served with fresh strawberries and blueberries.  (there are no pictures, because my family, neighbors and self may have devoured them!!)

What really impressed me and my family was that it was super moist, extremely flavorful and did not taste as though it was allergen or gluten free!!  As soon as all the cupcakes were gone both my parents were asking when we would get another mix!  I call that a full out success.

So details right? You can find all the information at the Namaste Foods, LLC website, but I will post it (Directly from the website) below as well.

Ingredients

Evaporated cane juice
sweet brown rice flour
tapioca starch
Dutch cocoa
arrowroot powder
rice milk powder
baking soda
salt
cream of tartar
xanthan gum

This product contains no wheat, gluten, soy, corn, potato, dairy, casein, peanuts or tree nuts. Non-GMO, all natural, no preservatives.

Directions

Add eggs oil, and water. Also makes a wonderful bundt cake. Prepare as directed and bake for 45 - 50 minutes.

Side note~ it did not mention which type of oil, so I used coconut oil which is my favorite or preferred oil.  My family did say they could taste a hint of coconut, but that it did not take away from the joy or yumminess (yup we are using that as a word) for my family!

Have you tried Namaste mixes or products?  What did you think about them? Let me know!

Again, thank you Tiffany for sending me such goodies from your Twitter Party!
