My Thoughts
Even sitting here to write this review I am laughing at the memories and sections of the story that are still playing in my mind. I absolutely and 100% love Joe's grandma, Bella. I hope to meet someone that is like her because she would be fantastic to hear stories from and know! If you are a Stephanie Plum fan then this book does not miss the mark. We have mystery (hello how is a giraffe hiding during this entire story!!), crime (why did it have to be Sunny?...though I loved the dynamic it created between Stephanie and the entire Burg. There is also romance (still Team Ranger but I am getting worried that it is veering to Morelli), friendships, drama and more. I think what I liked the most was at the end the hints that now seemed so obvious were not obvious to me at all while reading the story.
I have read a lot of reviews that said they think the series needs to end because how long can she really go between two men. While I understand the back and forth and not choosing can have its moments of grr, I think this triangle is still very viable and humorous. I do hope she chooses Ranger because I enjoy their scenes and who they are with each other more than who she is when she is with Morelli. In the meantime though I love the by plays between these three characters and can't wait to move onto the next book for more of Stephanie's adventures with her men, Lulu and the grandmas!
