Book Review (Per Goodreads)
A woman rancher struggles to save her ranch, but it’s her heart she’s most in danger of losing.  Storm’s ranch is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy after cattle rustlers strike. When her part-time ranch hand dies under suspicious circumstances, two neighboring ranchers step in to help. In jeopardy of losing the only place that’s ever felt like home, who can she trust with her heart?

My Thoughts
Parts were somewhat cheesy and predictable, but it still was an enjoyable read.  It is second in a series, but it reads as a stand alone.   A clean and well written romance with a dash of suspense.  It is an easy and quick read for those who like to take short trips to other places in their reading.  The book does cover some serious issues regarding female health and ranchers business; and , I was extremely impressed at the writing style that conveys the seriousness of the issues but kept the story moving and the relationships at the forefront.

KP really describes the ranch life in a way that I could envision. I thought the characters were very well developed, but I found it interesting that my favorite characters were not the main ones.  My favorite were actually Uncle Boots and the neighbors daughters.  I did not dislike the two main because Storm is a strong and loving female role and the two neighbors both cut a very distinctive role, but my favorite scenes or dialogue come from Boot and the two daughters!  If you like stories that have cute scenes, serious scenes, funny scenes, sad scenes and romantic scenes, I would recommend you try this out!
