I love the summer time. I love the sun, the flowers, the relaxing opportunities, trips to the beach (any body of water), etc., but one of the main things I love is the plethora of the red, white and blue that is shown throughout the summer! The patriotic songs, the thanking our military, etc. just make me smile and warm my heart.
With the joy though also comes the times that we need to stop and remember the sacrifices that many have make and continue to make for us to have these joyful times as individuals, families and a nation.
This memorial day, and really every day, thank you to those who have served and were not able to return home and thank you to the families that have lost loved ones!
