My Thoughts:
How does she do it? Everything I read by Nora Roberts I like (admittedly some more than others), but this one I liked on all fronts. It has a strong female, a great cast of secondary characters, a dashing and strong male lead, action, romance, friendship, thriller, a little mystery and travel!
The only thing I did not like is that the ending was somewhat predictable. By the time the violent scene came at the apartment I was expecting it and just wondering when it would come. Even that part was a bit obvious because when Lila and Ashton thought everything was over and Ashton left her alone for a few minutes is when the next drama occurred.
However, the scenes with the dogs had me going awww and laughing, Dogs truly are amazing and heroes! I loved and enjoyed the the twist and happenings of the two best friends (did NOT see that one happening) and enjoyed the villioness in this story (though she did make me think of a character in Iris Johansens Eve Duncan series!)
Overall I enjoyed this book and was glad I borrowed it from the library. I would recommend it for reading unless you do not enjoy books that have a somewhat predictable ending.
