Today my thankful contemplation is for my faith. My entire life faith has played a role in what I was learning, doing, experiencing, etc. At times I did not exhibit my belief openly as in I was not attending church, going to small groups, etc., but at no time did my faith go away. It may have shrank in its prominence with the standard questions of why, why me, why now, why this, etc., but at no time did I reject my faith.
I am thankful that I have had my faith during my dad's illnesses, my uncertainty about employment, health and other issues. Today, on the Lord's day, I want to reflect and thank Him and just be thankful for my faith in God and all his blessings.
