My Thoughts:
I don't have kids, but I do love to read YA books so I thought I would try a children's book. The main reason for that was that I saw the title name and was instantly ensnared. I have curly hair and usually I call it a frizzy hot mess!
The illustrations were cute and followed the story closely. More importantly though the story was pretty great. I did think it was maybe too short (I didn't know it had ended until I realized I had no more pages), but I think that is a good thing because I wanted to hear more about Tizzy and her new friend and their adventures at the park. My favorite part of the story though is how cleverly Tizzy learns a lesson about overcoming fright/trying new things. I think if you have children, are babysitting, run a daycare, church nursery, etc. this book, and the Frizzy Tizzy series,should be in your library collection
